I am HAPPILY married to the most amazing, Godly, loving, handsome, and funny man... Steve! We've been married since 2003. Steve and I are active in our church, Community Bible Church, in San Antonio! In our down time, we love to spend time with each other. We also love spending time with our families and our friends. We are both HUGE Dallas Cowboys fans! We have no children yet... but hopefully that will change soon! We do have two dogs that are our "babies". They are both golden-doodles. The Black one is named Briley and the golden one is Landry.

Family Fun!

We had a busy... but WONDERFUL Easter weekend! Mom and Dad came and brought Mallory (Morgan was sick- and Brad and Shannon couldn't come because Brad had his Alumni weekend at UMHB- so we missed them a lot!). Jason, Jenn, Julia, and Johnathan got to come too. Ted and Sherry came down and they stayed at Steph and Ed's.

Friday when my side of the family all got here, and after the dogs got used to having "strangers" in our house, we let them out of the pin that Landry stays in during the day. Welp, the kids went to the pin and had themselves some fun! It was free entertainment for a little bit... can't beat that. Here's a few pics and videos of them enjoying it...

We were listening to the IPOD and tried capturing Johnathan dancing/clapping... but I couldn't ever catch it on video. Here are Mallory and Julia dancing though!...

We went to the CBC's Easter performance Friday night... which was AWESOME I must say! I loved getting to sing in it! Saturday we went to the dog park and to a playground for a little bit before going to eat at Alamo Cafe! Here are some more random pics/videos of the weekend with my side of the family...

Here's Johnathan playing with my toes:

More pics of the kids in the dog pin...

All of us girsl w/ our flip flops on! (we missed Shannon and Morgan for this pic!)

Fun blowing bubbles...

love this pic of Johnathan:

Then, Saturday night we went to Steve's sisters to celebrate and spend time with his side of the family! Ed made some awesome chicken enchilada's! YUMMY! We played some games and then off to bed for an early performance at CBC! After church Sunday, we went back to Steph and Ed's for lunch and an Easter egg hunt for Zach and Autumn... here are some pics of our day...

Steve's Car Wreck

Let me start off by saying that Steve is okay! He was in what he's calling a "Minor Car Wreck". I tend to exaggerate (stop saying "amen"), so we'll just stick with his description. I will tell you all what I told him... let me tell ya how I got the news...

I was on my way home from work and I called Steve (I always call when I'm leaving work) and the first thing he says is "Did you get my email?". I said, "no, why?". He then explained the car wreck. Before I tell you all what happened, let me just say that I was SO glad that I talked to him before I read his email. Steve knows me too well (knows I would've freadked out), and I know him too well (knowing he "under exaggerates" and wouldn't want to worry me, so he'd make it sound better than it was)- so me knowing this could've been a "freak out" session for me if I had not talked to him first. He emailed and said "I'm okay. I have been in minor car wreck, not my fault. Getting a tow truck and a rent car. I love you."

Okay, so here's how my brain would've read that (if I hadn't talked to him first)- Steve knows I would worry so he didn't want to freak me out, so he calls this "MINOR". But about 3 years ago I was in a car wreck where I was rear-ended on the highway and spun around. The car was not badly damaged amazingly, and I could drive it away... WITHOUT A TOW TRUCK! So, in my brain, I'm thinking... "okay if he needs a tow truck... it's not MINOR!". That being said, I would've freaked out at that point. So, the Lord definitely allowed me to talk to him on the phone first to save me some stress!!

So, "what happened?" you all are asking... welp, here ya go...

Steve was driving through an intersection (with a green- not yellow, not orange, not red light!) and someone from the oncoming traffic tried to make a left turn across Steve's lane. That's when Steve T-Boned her car! Evidently the girl did not pay attention what-so-ever because she didn't see him coming. You can see by the pics below that Steve hit her in the "mid-front" section of her car... which means she didn't come CLOSE to making that left turn!

Steve is okay, not even sore.. so praise the Lord for that. The girl was okay as of yesterday, so we're hoping she wasn't hurt. (I know when I was in my wreck I didn't hurt until the next day- so I'm hoping that doesn't happen to her).

We are waiting to find out if the car is considered totalled or if they will be able to fix it. We may have to be doing some car shopping! Praise the Lord for Dave Ramsey... that's all I have to say!
