I am HAPPILY married to the most amazing, Godly, loving, handsome, and funny man... Steve! We've been married since 2003. Steve and I are active in our church, Community Bible Church, in San Antonio! In our down time, we love to spend time with each other. We also love spending time with our families and our friends. We are both HUGE Dallas Cowboys fans! We have no children yet... but hopefully that will change soon! We do have two dogs that are our "babies". They are both golden-doodles. The Black one is named Briley and the golden one is Landry.

Cowboys

Steve and I spent a day/night in Arlington together on a little "Christmas date". We got there and checked into the hotel and left Briley and Landry in the hotel while we went to do the tour of the Cowboys Stadium. It was really cool to see it all. Below are several of the pics from the stadium...

I had been so excited to take pics on the "Star"... but were getting ready for the Cotton Bowl... so, the Cotton Bowl is what we got!

Bankhead Christmas 2010

Here are a LOT of pics from Christmas. We were all able to be home at my parents house for a few days before Christmas. So, we had one of our Christmas celebrations with my parents, both sets of grandparents (first time ever that both my mom's parents and my dad's parents were with us at Christmas), my bro's/sis'-n-law, nieces, nephew, aunt, and uncle (my dad's sister and bro-in-law). Here's pics from that entire day and evening...

Briley and Landry chillin' in the backseat of the truck on the way to see B-mom and Pop!

This is sometimes how Briley sleeps when we travel... and she'll eventually end up with her head on Landry's back.

Dad playing catch with Steve, Brad, and Jason... but the dogs REALLY wanted to play catch too!

After we did the gifts and eating we snagged a quick family photo before everyone headed home.

The kiddos all had a slumber party in B-mom and Pops room and watched a movie and had popcorn while us "big kids" stayed up getting to talk and visit... and laugh!

Julia and Johnathan getting ready for the slumber party!

It was so COOOOLD in Burk! One of the evenings we snuggled up and took naps in front of the fireplace!

The temps outside were so different from what we see in SA!

Steve, me, mom, and dad drove around looking at Christmas lights one of the nights (Christmas Eve I think). Some of them were quite unique! This picture doesn't do the tree justice! It had over 80,000 lights on it.... literally!

On our way out of Burk we stopped at a donut shop that mom and dad had told us about. They called and told us it was worth going thru and ordering one thing just to see the sign in the drive-thru window... and they weren't kidding!!! See below: ummm...what exactly is a "hone"?

Puppet shows by Julia and Mallory!

Morse Family pics 2011- Take 1

We've been trying to do some "family pics" with the Morse side of the family for about a year now. I thought I'd just try it out with my camera (since that's what we used for my side of the family pics at the beach in Galveston last May). I figured we'd find a great location and get it done!

Well, we found the great location... The Marriott at La Cantera... BEAUTIFUL! The only bad thing was that we did it the weekend of Jan 1st. I know the sun is shining... but that's very deceiving as to how the temps were! Especially up there... it's partly "Hill Country"... so you get the wind there... the COLD wind that is! Needless to say these pics didn't turn out the best and we'll have to try a "take 2" when the temps are warmer. It was FREEZING and you can see that in the "stiffness" of everyone! hee hee!!!

I am OBVIOUSLY nothing CLOSE to being a professional photographer... and that wasn't my goal here either. I just wanted some pics of the family that I can frame. I chose a bad time too because we're all looking directly into the sun... so our eyes are closed, our faces are shaded... but that's okay. Now I know and we'll do better next time. Regardless I wanted to post this just for the heck of it!
