I am HAPPILY married to the most amazing, Godly, loving, handsome, and funny man... Steve! We've been married since 2003. Steve and I are active in our church, Community Bible Church, in San Antonio! In our down time, we love to spend time with each other. We also love spending time with our families and our friends. We are both HUGE Dallas Cowboys fans! We have no children yet... but hopefully that will change soon! We do have two dogs that are our "babies". They are both golden-doodles. The Black one is named Briley and the golden one is Landry.

UMHB Soccer

I was going to make this my "Wordless Wednesday" post... but I just have to brag on my brother a little bit first! As those of you who have known our family since we were kids... we grew up a soccer family. All 3 of us kids played and the boys continued all thru Jr. High and High School. Brad carried it on thru college and even played in a league in Colorado for a summer. He has always been if not THE best, then one of the best on any team he's played for! God truly gifted him with talent and Brad has worked hard at it!

After he graduated from HSU, he coached soccer. He coached high school for a while (4 yrs I think?? maybe longer???). Then, he moved to the college level and is currently the Head Soccer Coach for the men's team at UMHB. Since he's been there, they have set all kinds of records for that school and now even for the ASC Conference!!!

I (actually our entire family- inlaws on every side included) are so proud of Brad! We got to go up to Temple and watch his team host the ASC Conference Tournament a few weeks ago (another thing that had never been done before... UMHB "host" the tourny!- you have to be #1 in conference to do so!). Below are pics from that weekend.

They won the game on Saturday to get into the finals to play Hardin Simmons. They lost in a shoot out to HSU. The pics below are from the win on Saturday against Schreiner. I didn't get any pics of the game on Sunday against HSU.

Here's Mallory all dressed in her "Cru" gear and doing her chearleading pose... how cute is she???!!!!

Morgan had a matching outfit on that you can't see as well. She had my camera bag and carried it around like a little purse... so cute! (and girlie!)

Mom bought balloons to release into the air as the boys were being introduced before the game... Mallory and Morgan got to release them

We went to dinner after the game and this is Morgan with her new hat (if you can't tell... it's a diaper... it was SO FUNNY!!!)

If you've missed it... I've put 4 or 5 other new posts on here... so keep reading...

Titus and UT!

Steve has a friend, Titus, from HSU that he played volleyball with for years. Titus moved to California and got married, had kids, etc. Steve went to see him a few times and played v-ball in Cali. Welp, it's been over 7 years since Steve has seen/talked to him. Titus called our house about a month ago after finding our number and he and Steve have reconnected! Titus has moved to Round Rock this past summer with his wife (Michelle) and 2 little boys (Riley and TJ). We had the thrill of getting to go see him (me officially "meet" him although I knew who he was) this past weekend. His son was turning 4 and was having a birthday party (UT Theme if you can't tell). It turned out perfect for us because we were going to the UT game that night, so we were dressed for both occasions!!!

Anway... it was SO WONDERFUL meeting Titus and his wife Michelle. We look forward to staying in touch with them. Steve is talking about playing in a volleyball tourny with him next year... so that will be fun!!!! Anyhoo... here they are:

The four of us:

After the b-day party we headed to the UT vs Kansas game. We were running a little early, so we drove around downtown Austin (BIG MISTAKE on game-day... just FYI). This, however, was quite entertaining:
This guy is making sure to "Keep Austin Weird"...

The couple we went with have an RV and they camp out before all the games w/ all the other "RV-ers" and have tailgate parties(with full blown BBQ grills, Satelite TV's hooked up, BEVO blow up's, and food galore!). It is such a cool environment. They all go to every game, every year... so they are like one big family! So much fun!!! Here are some pics of us during the "pre-game festivities"...

This was hanging outside of one of the RV's:

The band was awesome! I love when they come out on the field playing the fight song!
In fact, I took video so you all could enjoy it too!

Do you see the people in blue (all 100 of them- LOL). This is the little corner that UT sticks the visitors! SO FUNNY! They have a view of the UT Student section and MAYBE part of the end zone! I had to take a picture of how little their section is...and if you could undertand the placement of them... it's just funny!

After the team runs out of the tunnel... majority of them run to the far end zone and kneel down and pray... pretty cool site to see

A little action shot:

HOOK 'EM!!!

Did I mention we had the BEST SEATS?? (lower level, 18th row, 40 yard line, Texas side) A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!

The seniors going out on the field to play the rest of the game... hugging Colt as they celebrate (during this time the crowd is chanting "Colt for Heisman!" SO COOL!

This was our second year to go... and it was as amazing as the first year!

Football in the family!!!

Zach is playing football for the first time! It's been AWESOME watching him and his team grow as they all learn to play. 99% of his team are first year players, so it's been a little rough as far as the "wins" go... but they have won one!

I can't believe how grown up Zach looks! Check him out...

He's #50...

Briley and Landry have been going to the games with us... they are a big hit with some of the fans! Briley gets a little freaked out when people start yelling and screaming for their teams... she'll start barking! It's funny!

Autumn and I doing some "bonding"... she loves pics and so do I... (note- she looks terrified here... but she had just finished smiling and just wanted to see the picture at this point!)

Meemaw got to come a few weeks ago, so here she is with her grand children (Steph and Steve)and great grands (Zach and Autum):

They came over after lunch and I love how Autumn is holding Meemaws hand as they look at Briley and Landry

Autumn wanting some more pics (while Steph and Ted watch on in the background)

(not my favorite pic of me... but it's cute of Autumn and everyone else!)

Meemaw with Autumn... LOVE this pic!

3 of the 4 generations (not sure where Sherry was)

I now baptize you....

This was SOOO WONDERFUL! Zach got saved and baptized! At CBC, they had a special baptism for children. They all went thru a little class at the church to make sure they really understood what it meant and everything. Then, on the Sunday of the baptism, they had each child's family come up to the window thing and watch while their child got baptized! It was really special to be RIGHT there!

What a wonderful thing to know that Zach will be in Heaven when he dies! God is so good and I pray that Zach follows Him closely for the rest of his life! Here are some more pics of the day!

Meemaw was in town for the special occassion, and it's always great to see her!

Zach had to go to football practice right after his baptism, so he had already changed by the time I got to take another pic

A family pic at the baptism

Zach, we are so proud of you and the decision that you have made to follow Jesus Christ! It is BY FAR the most important decision you can make in your entire life! We pray for Him to continue to reveal to you what this means and that you grow closer and closer to Him each day! We love you so much and are so proud of you!

Happy B-Day Autumn! (Late w/ pics)

November 3rd was our neice's, (Autumn), second birthday! She is REALLY coming out of her little shy shell! She just talks and talks and talks... and uses her hands to do so! We can't understand half of what she says... but it's PRECIOUS!

Steph made her a little "Disney cake"... isn't she talented?

Autumn just sat there smiling and looking at it... (sorry for the poor quality... this was taken with Steve's cell phone)

She loved sticking her finger in it and then liking her finger... and then repeating those steps over and over! (Steve and I were sure to ask for a piece of cake from the other side of the cake!)

The group waiting to sing "Happy Birthday"

Zach is such an AMAZING big brother to her!!! He just loves and adores her... and she returns those feelings! They are fun to watch when they are together... they both feed off each other and love every minute of it!

Steph, Ed, Zach and Autumn

I don't think there is a Disney character that she did NOT get as a stuffed animal...

Here she is w/ her Papa who is borrowing her new head-band!
