In our down time, we love to spend time with each other. We also love spending time with our families and our friends. We are both HUGE Dallas Cowboys fans! We have no children yet... but hopefully that will change soon! We do have two dogs that are our "babies". They are both golden-doodles. The Black one is named Briley and the golden one is Landry.

New Adventure...

I've never done anything like this before and I'm nervous about it (kinda)... but also excited about it!! I am now a Scentsy Consultant. I am by no means a sales person... but I LOVE this product and it basically sells itself!

If you've never heard about it, I encourage you to go to my website and check it out! It's a wickless candle! It is safe and smells AMAZING! There are LOTS of scents you can chose from and it's a GREAT price!

Here are a few reasons you will love it:
#1 they are safe! They are lamps so you can leave them on all day long (or night- which we do because it provides light for Briley and Landry during the night) and you don't have to worry about it being a fire hazard or anything! And while it's on, it's leaving your house smelling AWESOME!
#2 Once you buy a warmer (or two... or three... or five) then all you need to do is buy the refills of the wax! You can change the scents for each season or whatever without having to buy new candles each time!
#3 When you want to try a new scent, you can pour the scent you're using back into the container and try out a new one! (note- it will eventually evaporate if you leave the lamp on all the time... but it does take a while)
#4 They are kid friendly! Again- no flames! Also, you can touch the wax when it's "hot" and it won't burn like wax from a candle! I've personally tried it and can attest that this is true!
#5 They are decorative! It's not just a glass jar of some sort!
#6 It can be used as a night light (as mentioned above for Briley and Landry)

Okay, I won't go into more details! If you'd like to host a home or basket party, contact me by commenting on here or go to my website and click on "Host a Scentsy Party" and then "Host a Party". Fill the info out and I will be in touch with you! It's an easy and great way to earn free merchandise. For example, if you were to host a "basket party" and sell just five of a full-size system (a full-size warmer with three scents- see my website), you'd earn 10% of your sales in free merchandise PLUS one item at 50% off.

I would love to hear from you! If you are new to the "blogging" world and would like to leave a comment... here's how you do it:
* Click below where it says "0 Comments" (or 1 or however many comments)
* Type in your comment- let me know your email or phone # so I can contact you if you want to buy something or host a party of some sort. Be sure to put your name somewhere in the comment so I know who you are!
* Click the "Anonymous" button- after making sure your name is in the comment

Galveston 2010

We took a family vacation with my family for the first time since we've (my brothers and I) all been married (not to each other... GROSS... but to our spouses... just to clear that up for you sickos!)!

Anyhoo... we found a vacation home in Galveston (4 br, 4 bath) so it was nice for all of us to have our own spaces. We had SUCH a GREAT time! We were there for 7 days and it was perfect! I wasn't quite ready to leave... or not even nearly ready to leave! But, duty calls and we've gotta make a living and go back to work.

So, here are a BUNCH (as usual)

Here's the beach house we stayed at that was at a resort.

The Beach Club (where one of the pools was... and ping pong, beach, and a lot of other stuff that we didn't really do)

Day 1 at the beach

Johnathan and Julia the day they got there... before heading to the beach

It was sad to see some of the damage that is still there from Hurricane Ike. Here are a few pics...
This was a pier that was destroyed in Hurricane Ike

The driveway that was the access to get to the Flagship Hotel

The Flagship

Our first full day there (technically the morning of day 2) we went grocery shopping for the week! We cooked all the meals and ate out twice. We had 3 buggies full of groceries! It was some Gooooood Eatin'!

One of the nights we went to Salsa's for dinner. It was very good! Here we are there...

After Salsa's we all went on the ferry. We saw dolphins a few times, but I didn't get any pics of it.

This was taken as we were driving 50mph down the road! I thought it turned out great!

One evening we went to the beach club to swim and play some ping pong.

Cousin love! (Malory and Julia)

When you ask Morgan to show you "The Face"... this is what you get:

Mallory showing "The Face" too:

We went to Murdocks to buy some gifts/junk... here are the kids looking at the hermit crabs with Brad and Jason

I tried to get a pic of the kiddos on the seawall... but the wind was INSANE, so all the pics have the girls hair in their faces!

We went to the strand one day so here are several shots from being there...

Lastly, we took family pics while we were there... here are just a few...

Welp... that's it! I'm ready for our next vacation!!!
