I am HAPPILY married to the most amazing, Godly, loving, handsome, and funny man... Steve! We've been married since 2003. Steve and I are active in our church, Community Bible Church, in San Antonio! In our down time, we love to spend time with each other. We also love spending time with our families and our friends. We are both HUGE Dallas Cowboys fans! We have no children yet... but hopefully that will change soon! We do have two dogs that are our "babies". They are both golden-doodles. The Black one is named Briley and the golden one is Landry.

New-ness

I figured I'd do a blog regarding the "new" things/looks/projects etc. that we are up to around here.

I've already blogged about our floors... which we are LOVING! I'm excited to have my sister-in-law (Jenn) come down and get some "decorating advise" for our living room now. We need rugs and some other tips and she's just the person who can help... she's got talent with that stuff!

Anyways... we got our new loveseat, so here it is with the couch...

To start our Saturday, we had people come out and clean our air ducts... which were nasty. Here's a pic of the "before"

And here's the "after" (note... the white stuff on the edges and the outside is the "popcorn ceiling" spray/stuff. It's the inside that we are looking at here...)

The next thing on the "to do" list for today was my hair! I got my hair cut again (first time since last April- YIKES). I only get it cut like once a year, so needless to say it grows out and looks all nasty. However, it's easier to maintain because I can just wear it curly and it's quick and easy. Straightening it takes 2 hours (the wash, dry, straightening all together)... so I don't like that kind of maintenance! I'm a low maintenance kinda girl. Anyways, I cut it off and now I have to straighten it. It's okay though... it's worth it to have a "new" hairstyle every now and then. I don't have any before pics... just look above at the top of my blog and you'll see what it has been looking like. Here's what it looks like now...

Third thing on our list today... start our new vegetable garden! We were going to start it last weekend, but we never actually started it. We bought the fertilizer and seeds, but never started the digging! So, it has just begun... and that's about the end of it. Steve is the one working on this, so I can't take any credit for it. But, here's our process... I'll follow up with more pics after we get the fertilizer down, seeds planted, and then hopefully some food! (we're starting with Okra, Onions, and potatoes to see how they work... if it works, we'll add more to it!). Here's the before and then the next phase- but by no means the "after"...

Our next project... putting hardware on our cabinets and drawers! Pics to come once we complete that one!

Sooooooo love your furniture!

And I think I am sick because although I absolutely love your hair...I actually noticed in the picture behind you that you moved your bed on a different wall in your bedroom! Looks great.

Can't wait to see it all in person.....I'm already thinking of a piece that would go perfect on that wall behind the couch.

What's my budget??

Love you - see you in a couple of weeks.
