I am HAPPILY married to the most amazing, Godly, loving, handsome, and funny man... Steve! We've been married since 2003. Steve and I are active in our church, Community Bible Church, in San Antonio! In our down time, we love to spend time with each other. We also love spending time with our families and our friends. We are both HUGE Dallas Cowboys fans! We have no children yet... but hopefully that will change soon! We do have two dogs that are our "babies". They are both golden-doodles. The Black one is named Briley and the golden one is Landry.

Birthday Celebrations...

I've got a few posts coming of the events that took place in August... so be watching for them.

This one is from the week of my birthday. Mom had a conference in SA that week, so she stayed the entire week with us. Dad had to work down in the valley, so he came through and stayed Thur and Fri with us and he and mom headed home that Saturday.

It was GREAT having them in town! On my birthday (which this was the first time since I've been married that I've been with my side of the family ON my actual birthday)- Steve had to work until late that evening... so my mom and I had some "girl time". We went to a spa and got some pedicures together. Afterwards we went to my favorite Mexican food place... Alamo Cafe!!! Mmmmmm!!!!

sorry it's so blurry... my camera is moody!
doesn't mom look AMAZING!

Steve knows that I'm not a huge cake fan... but he also knows that my new found favorite cake is Strawberry! He bought this little cake for me and lit the only candles that we have in the house (27)~ oh how I would love to be that age again! (sigh)

Then, Steve and I went out on my birthday date the Friday after my b-day. We went to Red Lobster (I love their chicken strips!). After dinner we went down to the river walk and took a ride on the river boats! I've never done that! If you live here, you don't do the "tourist" thing very much. So, enjoy the pics from our birthday date...

You are cruel posting a picture of Alamo Cafe! I'm salivating. Is that a bowl of queso on the table???? Oh my.

My friend moved away from SA, so I never go anymore. :(

Sounds like you had a great birthday!
