Football and Dogs!

Steve and I LOVE football!!!! Every year we go watch the high school teams around here play. Friday night we went to watch New Braunfels play Reagan. The best part about it was the weather!!!! It was CHILLY!!!!! I mean... this pic below doesn't look like it... the sun was out, but we were on the side in the shade... with a nippy little wind! I LOVED it!!! The only bad thing is that we weren't prepared for cold! I only had my Cowboys sweatshirt hoodie and my scarf (in addition to my regular long sleeve shirt that is)! Steve only had a long sleeve shirt... so I let him wear my jacket and I wore my scarf and let him cuddle me to keep me warm!








This is the first thing Steve did when we got home... made a glass of hot chocolate!



Now... onto our little one's... Briley and Landry. I have been wanting to get some updated pics of them, but I can't get them still long enough to do so. They just play, play, and play! Landry is a little toot though!!!! She's still puppy and I have to remember that... but man she's a toot!

We finally found us a rug for our living room- it's 6'x8' and it fits perfect by our couch and love seat... and did I mention we got it on clearance at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $25!!!! What a DEAL!!!

Welp, Landry, being the puppy that she is, is potty trained and hasn't chewed up our furniture or walls (yes- she has DESTROYED some of our baseboards and door frames!!!) in a while when we leave her out. We usually only leave her out for a few hours at a time... if it's longer than that, she's in her pin. Welp, this is what I walked in and found one morning when I was home sick a few weeks ago...



The fact that this was only $25 is the ONLY thing that kept me from... well, I don't know what... but man was I mad!! The sorry thing about it, we'll probably NEVER find a rug that size for that price again!

Here are the two of them scarfing down their food and water... they like to share even though they each have their own bowls on opposite ends of the island. I think they think that one of them is getting more than the other and that's why they do that!
