About Me

San Antonio, TX
I am HAPPILY married to the most amazing, Godly, loving, handsome, and funny man... Steve! We've been married since 2003. Steve and I are active in our church, Community Bible Church, in San Antonio! In our down time, we love to spend time with each other. We also love spending time with our families and our friends. We are both HUGE Dallas Cowboys fans! We have no children yet... but hopefully that will change soon! We do have two dogs that are our "babies". They are both golden-doodles. The Black one is named Briley and the golden one is Landry.

Home Repairs/Updates

We have had quite a few house projects going on. None of them were HUGE... but some of them were a pain in the hiney! Thanks to my AMAZING hubby, he got them ALL done before family came to visit for Easter. Here are some of the projects that we've been working on over the past few months...

Painting

We had this BRIGHT blue in one of the guest rooms and we finally got around to repainting it with a much more "tamed" shade of blue/grey.

Here's Steve hard at work getting those edges just PERFECT!

you can kinda see the "old/BRIGHT" blue in one little streak... I wanted to show the difference in the color.
Here's the room before

Here's the after

Weeds

They have OVER TAKEN the yards in our neighborhood! It's insane, I've never seen it this bad! We had a family reunion of "cabbage patch kids" (aka weeds) in our yard! This is just one of MANY piles:

more piles!

Bathroom
We have been wanting to add a shelf/cabinet or something in our master bath. Here's the space we want it

Steve reading the directions (yes ladies, he reads instructions! YAY!)

and the new cabinet!

Organization
This may seem random, but I cleaned out my side of the closet and even color coded it! Here are the shirts

... and the pants

Studs
Now, our "little one" (Landry) decided to chew (or EAT) some of our baseboards and door frames when she was "younger". We had to completely replace a door frame to one of the guest rooms and then the door frame of the back doors. Here's Steve in the process of getting it all put back together...

Briley and Landry trying to figure all of the "construction" out

see what I mean by "EAT/CHEW"... she "CHEWED/ATE" down to the STUDS!!!! YIKES!

Here is the new replaced baseboard/door frame
