Meemaw's 90th birthday!!!

We had the pleasure of spending time with Steve's family as we all celebrated his grandmother's (Meemaw) 90th birthday! Meemaw is a very strong woman... and strong willed. :o) She has been very healthy up until the past year of her life. (I remember maybe 2 or 3 years ago) she was up on her own roof cutting tree branches down!!! Really?? I'm 33 and don't do that!



Over the past year she has fallen a few times so Ted and Sherry have taken Meemaw back to Temple to live with them. Meemaw has lived in Palestine forever and in the same house for over 50 years (it's the house Sherry and her brother's and sisters grew up in). Anyway, so needless to say that Meemaw not living there is really hard on her. We are praying for God to work out some things with that situation.

Sooo, we had the b-day party at Ryan's in Palestine. We rented out a little room there and there were at LEAST 53 people there! I'm not sure that everyone got counted... but we know we counted that many! It was crazy and crowded! It was all family with the exception of maybe 3 or 4 people I believe! What a blessing it has been for me to join this family! Meemaw... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It's an honor knowing you and getting to celebrate your life!
