Anyhoo... this reunion was very special because my Mawmaw (my mom's mom who had a stroke back in March) and Pawpaw were able to make the road trip and attend!!!! If you would've asked us back in March if we thought she'd be there, we would've said NO WAY! God is so good and has performed miracles on Mawmaw and she is doing great! She's still not back to "normal"... but she's good enough to know what's going on and to enjoy time with her family!
We left Friday after work and drove to Abilene. We got to see some BEAUTIFUL clouds on our way in because of the storm that was brewing...
As soon as we drove into Abilene it was NASTY/SCARY weather! It was raining so hard we couldn't see 10 feet in front of the car! The wind was blowing the rain, it was WINDY, lightning/thunder! I was scared and so was Steve at that point because he was the driver! There were tornado warnings and watches all around us... so that was NOT FUN!!! Poor Briley buried herself in the floorboard she was so scared.
Moving on... Saturday morning we met at my cousin's, Milo (and his wife Carolyn with their 7 kids), house for breakfast and fellowship. Here's a pic of the 4 older kids- Haley, Milo Allen, John Thomas, and Brayden... all of which have grown to be BEAUTIFUL and HANDSOME... and TALLLLLLL!!!!
Then, we all (the ENTIRE family... distant cousins, cousins, cousins, aunts/uncles, cousins, grand parents, cousins, etc) meet together for... food, games, fellowship, looking at pics, laughing, crying, talking, b-ball playing,
kids playin', eatin',
singing, picture taking,
good ol' time!
I love my family and I love my family reunions!!!!! (ALL of them!!!)
***See below for an updated post and stay tuned for more because I still have lots of catching up to do!***

Hey girl! Your background is gone and I think you're writing in white because I can't see any words. :)
Hi Julie... I think I fixed it. The background is taking a while to come up. Let me know if it still doesn't work on your end. It's working on mine when I pull it up. Thanks for letting me know!
