I Saw God Today
If you haven’t seen God today, it’s because you haven’t been looking. We have seen God working in some amazing ways over the past month. Here’s a summary:

April 2, 2009 – got in a wreck; nobody was hurt.

April 7, 2009 – insurance adjuster totaled out my vehicle; received 3X the amount of money I was expecting from it.

April 9, 2009 – bought a new vehicle from a salesman who happened to go to our church; did not know that until we were test driving the vehicle and started talking to him; he gave us a 25% discount on the vehicle; NOW is the time to buy a truck if you are in the market for one.

April 13, 2009 – LaShay has a stressful interaction with her supervisor and comes home feeling extremely overwhelmed, miserable, scared, trapped, etc. She has been experiencing these feelings for over a month now. We start praying asking God for wisdom and guidance.

April 14, 2009 – LaShay receives “random” message on facebook from a friend at church asking us if we want to join their lifegroup. They are starting a new study this Sunday based on the movie “Fireproof”.

April 17, 2009 – We decide that LaShay needs to officially resign after given peace from God.

April 19, 2009 – We start attending the new lifegroup and we meet others who are going through issues with their jobs. We have more people praying for LaShay’s job situation.

April 26, 2009 – LaShay has a horrible night’s sleep as her stomach is in knots because she is resigning tomorrow.

April 27, 2009 – LaShay hands in her resignation to human resources and has the best talk with them; they listened, asked questions, took notes, and wanted to do everything they could to keep her; LaShay leaves feeling like the greatest burden has been lifted.

April 28, 2009 – LaShay tells her teams that she is leaving. She has many conversations with people who have the same feelings as LaShay but have been scared to say anything.

April 30, 2009 – LaShay is called into meeting with the Vice President of her department (the boss who LaShay has been fearful of) and has a chance to talk to her about all of her concerns. The VP breaks down and cries several times throughout the meeting and apologizes for everything. LaShay leaves the meeting with an even greater reassurance and peace from God.
