Steve and I had planned on taking a trip for our anniversary back in April. However, at the time of our anniversary, I was about to be handing in my resignation at my job (with no other job to fall back on) and we had just had to buy a new truck since Steve was in a wreck... so, we didn't want to spend money since we didn't know how long I would be jobless. So, we waited until I got a new job and then decided we could proceed with our plans of a little getaway time!
We had originally planned on going up to Marble Falls... then we decided to book a resort in Austin. We did that and were all set until I remembered the LaCantera Resort here in San Antonio. So, we cancelled the resort in Austin and booked the resort here (love not having to travel after a vacation!!!).
This place was BEAUTIFUL!!! I highly recommend it if you need a getaway! It's very kid friendly too for all of you with kiddos! I don't know that Steve and I will ever travel again for a "vacation"! It was worth it to stay here and go to this place!!! It was wonderful customer service... everywhere! It was just awesome! Here are some pics from our time there...

That place looks so nice! I love that area of San Antonio. What a relaxing getaway.
Looks wonderful! But if we come to SA...we come to visit you! Guess we'll have to sneak in. LOL!
