A few details about the vacation...
It was a "Morse" family vacation to Scottsdale, AZ (right outside of Phoenix). Steve's parents (Ted and Sherry), sister (Steph), and her two kids(Zach and Autumn) all went. Steph's hubby (Ed) couldn't come :o(
Ted's sister (Helen) lives there with her son (Mark) and his wife (Elizabeth) and their 7 year old twin boys (Russel and Sam). I have never met Ted's side of the family, so I was so excited about this trip! They were such a joy to be with and were WONDERFUL hosts! They housed ALL of us in their house along with them! It was wonderful!
Anyhoo... we had a VERY FULL week! We got up every morning and went walking at 7am before it got too hot! We were out and about every day... then home for dinner each evening! It was WONDERFUL!
BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS:
SHOPPING:
GRAND CANYON: a.k.a. one of God's masterpieces that only He can do!!!!! (pictures don't even do it justice!)
Below are pics from the "Bright Angel Trail". Steve, Ted, Steph, Zach and I all went for a little "hike/walk" on the trail. It is over 9 miles from the top to the bottom. We walked probably about 1.5 miles down the trail (going down was easy... going up... not so much! We were all a little winded afterwards!) There are absolutely no hand rails or anything like that... one little slip... and umm.. bye bye!

MUSEUM:
We went to a museum in Phoenix one of the days. Here are pics from that...
The "figures" below with us are all completely made of legos! It was amazing!
IN AND OUT:
I finally got to experience eating a "In and Out Burger"! I liked it!
GAMES:
We went to Cracker Jack's for rides and games w/ Mark and the twins...
VIEW: I had no idea there were so many mountains in Phoenix!
THE LAST SUPPER:
Dinner with everyone (this is the only night we went out instead of eating at the house... and it was AMAZING!). It's a steak house and I can't remember the name of it right now. It's a very casual steak house. If you come in with a tie, they cut it off and hang it from the ceiling... as you can see below! The entire place was covered with ties on the ceiling!
