I am HAPPILY married to the most amazing, Godly, loving, handsome, and funny man... Steve! We've been married since 2003. Steve and I are active in our church, Community Bible Church, in San Antonio! In our down time, we love to spend time with each other. We also love spending time with our families and our friends. We are both HUGE Dallas Cowboys fans! We have no children yet... but hopefully that will change soon! We do have two dogs that are our "babies". They are both golden-doodles. The Black one is named Briley and the golden one is Landry.

Arizona Trip- L.O.T.S. of pics!!!!!!

Welp, I'm finally getting a few (okay.. A LOT... and I mean A LOT! But, I'm doing this for my own memories too... so if it's too many for you, I'm sorry) of pics downloaded from our vacation. Since there are so many pics, I'll try to keep my words few and far between! (Which if you know me, you know that's hard to do!)

A few details about the vacation...
It was a "Morse" family vacation to Scottsdale, AZ (right outside of Phoenix). Steve's parents (Ted and Sherry), sister (Steph), and her two kids(Zach and Autumn) all went. Steph's hubby (Ed) couldn't come :o(
Ted's sister (Helen) lives there with her son (Mark) and his wife (Elizabeth) and their 7 year old twin boys (Russel and Sam). I have never met Ted's side of the family, so I was so excited about this trip! They were such a joy to be with and were WONDERFUL hosts! They housed ALL of us in their house along with them! It was wonderful!

Anyhoo... we had a VERY FULL week! We got up every morning and went walking at 7am before it got too hot! We were out and about every day... then home for dinner each evening! It was WONDERFUL!

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS:
Steph and I having our b-day parties the night Steve and I got there (my b-day is Aug 12th and her b-day is Aug 14th)

SHOPPING:
spent one afternoon shopping in Old Town Scottsdale

Ted posing as a cactus!

Zach and Autumn at the mall

Blizzards at Dairy Queen!

GRAND CANYON: a.k.a. one of God's masterpieces that only He can do!!!!! (pictures don't even do it justice!)
The sun rise behind the mountains on our way to the Grand Canyon (this is approx 5:30am-ish)

Below are pics from the "Bright Angel Trail". Steve, Ted, Steph, Zach and I all went for a little "hike/walk" on the trail. It is over 9 miles from the top to the bottom. We walked probably about 1.5 miles down the trail (going down was easy... going up... not so much! We were all a little winded afterwards!) There are absolutely no hand rails or anything like that... one little slip... and umm.. bye bye!

this was taken from our hike down the trail. The top right of the pic is where we started (where the trees are) and the trail winds down from there

The van ride home from the Grand Canyon

MUSEUM:
We went to a museum in Phoenix one of the days. Here are pics from that...

Steve laying on a bed of nails

Zach riding a bike on a rope hung from the ceiling

Autumn was concerned for Zach's safety and watched his every move!

The "figures" below with us are all completely made of legos! It was amazing!

Steve and I in the planetarium

IN AND OUT:
I finally got to experience eating a "In and Out Burger"! I liked it!

GAMES:
We went to Cracker Jack's for rides and games w/ Mark and the twins...

VIEW: I had no idea there were so many mountains in Phoenix!

THE LAST SUPPER:
Dinner with everyone (this is the only night we went out instead of eating at the house... and it was AMAZING!). It's a steak house and I can't remember the name of it right now. It's a very casual steak house. If you come in with a tie, they cut it off and hang it from the ceiling... as you can see below! The entire place was covered with ties on the ceiling!

I ordered a filet mignon (well done)... this is what the waiter brought me before he brought me the real thing. (if you can't tell... it's a old, nasty boot!)

Mark, Elizabeth, Hellen, Russell, and Sam

A group shot outside the restaurant right before a mansoon blew in... see the clouds in the background (and also the reason it's such a dark pic!)

Steve... self explanatory

AIRPORT SUNRISE:
This is the sunrise from the airport the day we left Phoenix... AMAZING colors! God is truly amazing!
