Steve and I haven't been able to make it to very many of my neices/nephew birthday parties because they all live away. Most of the times the parties have been on either a Friday night or a Sunday afternoon/evening and we just haven't been able to make those trips due to work. Well, we were so excited to see that we were gonna get to be at Julia and Johnathan's birthday party this year!! Julia turned 4 in January, and Johnathan turns 2 in February... so Jason and Jenn decided to have their party together!
Steve and I were already in Temple celebrating Ted's b-day- so we made the day trip up to Waxahachie to be w/ the J4's (that's what they call themselves since all of their first names start w/ a "J"- I think it's cute!). We got there in time to watch the Cowboys game... a very sad game I might add :o(. After the game we went to the b-day party which was held at a gymnastics place. It was sooooo fun! Here are lots of pics of the fun day!
The b-day boy after swinging on the rope into the "trap" of foam blocks! I say "trap" because I had to get in it and rescue Johnathan a few times and it is VERY HARD to get out of that thing!!!

here he is with his daddy helping him swing on the rope

Here's Julia walking on the balance beam with her Boppy (Jenn's mom). Julia was SO BUSY running everywhere and doing everything, that my camera couldn't get a good shot! She moves so much that they were ALL blury! (sorry Ju-Ju! I wish I had more of you doing your stuff! But I'd need a high dollar camera to be able to capture it all!)

here they are with their mommy and daddy

and with their favorite aunt and uncle there! (I can say that because Brad and Shannon couldn't come because Morgan was sick)

J4 (Jason, Jenn, Julia, Johnathan)- note- aren't the kids shirts cute!!! Jenn couldn't find one w/ just a "2" for Johnathan, so she marked off one of the "2's" from "22" with red tape! funny!

and the birthday kiddos in a thing that rolls around while they lay in it (and then they fall out as it rolls... it was quite cute!)

Looks like it was a fun party! I'm still sad that we couldn't make it:(
Derek- the 4 is Lou Gherig's # when he played baseball (Steve works for ALS Association. ALS is also known as Lou Gherig's Disease)
And I get onto my mom all the time about updating her blog... she doesn't listen!
