I am HAPPILY married to the most amazing, Godly, loving, handsome, and funny man... Steve! We've been married since 2003. Steve and I are active in our church, Community Bible Church, in San Antonio! In our down time, we love to spend time with each other. We also love spending time with our families and our friends. We are both HUGE Dallas Cowboys fans! We have no children yet... but hopefully that will change soon! We do have two dogs that are our "babies". They are both golden-doodles. The Black one is named Briley and the golden one is Landry.

Washamba Reunites!!!!!

Awwww... the good ol' days! Steve playing volleyball is such a great memory for me! It's when I got my first "crush" on him! I've fallen more and more in love with him every day since then... and that was back in 1997!!!

He and his buddies that he played with at HSU played in Spikefest in Round Rock a few weeks ago. They used to always play in this little tournament back in college and they were what we now call "the kids". They used to play what they used to call "the old men" (who were in their 30's!). Anyways, the guys (Steve, Titus, and John) all decided they should hook back up and play some volleyball together! So, the enrolled their team from back then "Washamba"!

They played in the "open" bracket (which is the hardest bracket). They were the "old men" this time... although there were a few other teams of "old men" too, so they weren't totally alone. Now Steve, John, and Titus haven't played on the same team since at least '97 or '98. Steve and John have played a few times since then... but not in 6 years! So, we were all interested to see how they were going to do. These guys are all great players so I was sure they would do well.

We wanted to get some "before" pics of the players and their "fans" before the guys were too wiped out to smile for the camera!

Below is John and his son Kaden. (John's wife Kelly was home with their baby boy, Noah, who was only 2 weeks old- so she couldn't be there).

Titus and his family (wife Michelle, and sons TJ and Riley)

the boys already playing with their toys- before game 1

So, game time started and to sum it all up... they played GREAT!!!! They played the best of 3 and ALL the games they played went to 3 games... with the exception of 1 set and they beat a team of "kids" in 2 games. I was SO PROUD of Steve!! I miss watching him play!!! It was so fun to be there... as his WIFE... not girlfriend or even just "friend" watching him on the sidelines! I was proud to call him my husband!

The rest of the photos aren't in game order

Me and my little hottie in between games:

my hubby tapping it over one of the "kids" block!

my hubby spiking it on one of the "kids"... yea, he's still got it!

Cooling off after a game and getting some coaching tips from his dad ;o)

Steve STUFFING the "kids" spike back down into the "kids" face! (that "kid" came down on Steve's feet under the net after this play... Steve's toenails (3 of them) are blue because of it! Quite disgusting)

I just loved this pic! Titus' son, Riley, wearing Titus' shoes! How cute!

My parents (under the tent on the left) and Steve's dad (in the middle) and Michelle tending to the kids. Steph, Zach and Autumn came up for a bit too so they had a good little crowd!

The guys made it to the playoffs and lost in the first round after losing in a set of 3 games. Again... they played great, but by day 2, they were SPENT!

After all the games here they are still smiling!
